The story of the train that once ran through George Bush Park and connected the ranches in Barker and Katy to Houston This interpretive poster with an old black-and-white photograph of a steam-engine-drawn train and people on top, erected on the edge of the equestrian area parking lot, tells the tale of the small-gauge rail line that in pioneer days traversed the area now known as George Bush Park and connected it to Houston, which was then but a small town on the Bayou. |

After 5472 blasted these on FB, I looked at the map and saw that it was a 20 min. drive and literally a 6-turn route for me. I thought I’d give it a shot. I get there around 10am and survey the area like those before and after me. Then, guess who emerged from the Northern Kingdom? None other than JCacheKingoftheHide! He arrived with his trusty hunt hound! He looked as royally puzzled as I did. 🤔🤴🏼🤔👸🏻 We figured something was very wrong.
We gathered some additional information at GZ which sounded promising, but it took us on a wild goose chase. We ended up going our separate ways. I was determined to solve the mystery and did some sleuthing on my own. That cost me a 6 mile walk. This walk took me all the way back to GZ and I seriously considering taking an Über back to my car. I took out my frustrations by caching on the way back to my car! |

I'm very confused. The sign clearly doesn't exist anywhere near the coordinates. Either me or the hider don't understand how this works. |

Out looking for this tag. About 45 minutes from home... Disappointed because there is no sign as in the picture is not within 300 yards of the GZ (and my research show that the trail the sign should be on is about a mile away). Just confused. If the sign isnt a clue then why is it included in the description? Very frustrated. Eric1701 |
